1. Day: Santo Domingo

2. Day: Santo Domingo
today become acquainted with you the first European city in America. Here the
first cathedral was built, resided the first governor, the first bishop was
voted and the first hospital opened. The creazy town with millions of
inhabitants has a set of cultural to offer in particular architectural objects
of interest as one does not find it otherwise anywhere on Hispaniola. They start
the day in the historical, from the UNESCO protected old part of town, the Zona
Colonial. On the city round course you see
the palace of the Diego Kolumbus, the palace of the governor and the general
captains, the cathedral and the Parque de Colón with the bronze monument of
Christoph Kolumbus. They walk to the lady road by the Calle de las Damas, and

historic town centre. They drive to the Faro A Colón in the east of the city. In

Before you reach the 27 de Febrero the port promenade by means of

3. Day:
Santo Domingo – San Cristóbal – Plaenque – Baní – Azua - Barahona
you drive along the coastal road out of town to San Cristóbal, the birth city of
the dictator Trujillo. The city is today a market and a commercial centre and
possesses decorations a baroque church. Drive on by agriculturally used area to
the beaches of Playa Najayo and Palenque. The villages are surrounded by Mango
and bread fruit trees, Kokospalms and bananas. Inspection of the local hospital

build, because he assumed rich Goldmines in the region. Soon the upward
gradients increase on the good road. Here the mountain world of the Cordillera

summer holidays. Jarabacoa is on 600 m over sea and is surrounded by Pineforests,
rivers, mountains and valleys of the rivers Rio Yaque del Norte and Rio Jimenoa.

6. Day: Jarabacoa
you visit the charming place and visit the coffee factory Monte Alto, where
everything is explained to you over the cultivation and the processing of the
coffee. Naturally there is also a coffee sample. Stop at La Confluencia where
the two rivers Rio Yaque del Norte and Rio Jimenoa flow together. Subsequently,
short travel to the Wasserfall Salto Jimenoa. By means of a nature way and some

the country, you reach this impressing Wasserfall. It falls over 42 meters into

7. Day: Jarabacoa – Santiago de las Caballeros

8. Day: Santiago de Caballeros – Moca – San Francisco
de Macoris – Nagua – Sanchez –
Samaná peninsula (
the city Santiago was created loosely three times and is the richest of the
